Teacher Asks Writing Class To Write Murder Essay
I am guessing that this teacher had good intentions with this exercise, like finding out if there were any potential killers in the class or to open up discussion so students could talk about why they would want to kill someone, etc. No matter what, this guy is an idiot given the current state of our society and the focus that is being given to kids killing classmates. Poor execution of a god plan or just a poor plan - either way, the teacher should have never given the assignment as it is too big an issue today. (Full Story)

If it was not, the school would not be defending this teacher and allowing him to keep his job.Michael Maxwell, who teaches industrial technology at Central High School, said his request that students in his beginning drafting class describe how they would carry out a murder was merely a writing prompt.
